HONDURAS: Zelaya targets top ministers

The presidential election has heated up after Partido Liberal (PL) candidate Manuel "Mel" Zelaya called on the defence minister, Federico Brevé, and the security minister, Óscar Álvarez, to resign. Both men are members of the ruling Partido Nacional's (PN) political commission, as well as heads of the ministries entrusted to guarantee the constitutionality of the 27 November elections.
